Today, more than ever, School Districts are being asked to invest in their facilities. While there are studies from all over the world which show how the learning environment has a significant impact on the learning progression of students, more critical issues surrounding safety, security, and health have been in the spotlight. From secured vestibules to increased air filtration levels and improved indoor air quality, the school building is becoming as relevant as curriculum.

With the challenges of teacher shortages, unfunded state mandates, aging infrastructure, and the ever-improving codes and standards, it is the desire of Allied Facility Partners to reduce the pressure on District leadership by being a trusted and dependable resource to assist with their facility needs.

Improving the learning environment while identifying and implementing energy conservation measures is a practical approach to supporting students and staff, while being fiscally responsible. Allied Facility Partners specializes in limited vertical markets to be the dependable knowledgeable partner needed to maximize outcomes. The educational market is unique in its organization, process, and challenges. Our experience working within all levels of this organization yields great results; lessons are learned from understanding the leadership directives of Superintendents and Business Managers to listening to the needs and concerns of Facilities Personnel, Teachers, and Staff. This team approach, with the support of Administration and the School Board, has proven capable of achieving incredible accomplishments, saving taxpayer money, and creating budget certainty.

Summer construction window is smaller each year. Our approach maximizes the ability to construct projects and mitigate distractions and inconveniences allowing the district to focus on supporting students and education. Allied is committed to and consistently delivers on this timeline because of its unique approach including pre-ordering material, utilizing dedicated full time project personnel, and rigorous contractor accountability. Allied orders equipment earlier, locking in ideal prices, improving equipment options and availability, and mitigating manufacturer delays by allowing material to be delivered and stored nearby, ready to be brought on-site immediately when needed. Executing work at a District-wide level requires adequate supervision, collaboration, and experience. Allied Facility Partners believes this starts with dedicating on-site personnel to maintain communication and adapt to project conditions and needs. Project execution at Allied is a team approach, leveraging the diverse experiences of our whole team throughout the project. Allied has developed a subcontractor agreement that is specifically intended for the tight timelines associated with school projects during the summer. The agreement requires staffing plans that are tied to detailed construction schedules. In the instance where a contractor falls behind on the schedule or fails to meet the agreed upon staffing plan, Allied has the ability to bring supplemental contractors onto the project to assist in bringing the project to completion on time.
